Towards a quantum regime
Jannis Joger introduces a novel experiment for which he invented and built an apparatus capable of trapping, cooling and physically overlapping 6Li atoms and Yb+ ions. The ultimate objective is to achieve a quantum regime of interacting atoms and ions.
