Members of the Alumni Network Conservation and Restoration are invited to a private viewing of the Sint Eloyen Gasthuis in Utrecht. This event was scheduled earlier, but had to be postponed due to the corona measures.
|Date||29 October 2021|
The Sint Eloyen Gasthuis in Utrecht is the only surviving guild house in the Netherlands. Since 1440, the brothers of the Blacksmith's Guild of St. Eloy gathered in this house, where the sick and poor guild brothers were also cared for in and around the house, functioning as a kind of hospice. The Blacksmiths' Guild has continued uninterrupted to the present day, making it one of the oldest surviving organizations from the Middle Ages worldwide. C&R alumnus Thomas Michgelsen will be our guide and will welcome us for closing drinks at the house.
This event is for members of the Alumni Network Conservation and Restoration only.
There is room for a maximum of 20 participants.
Please note that earlier registrations are still valid. If you cannot attend this event anymore, please contact the Alumni Network Conservation and Restoration via email.
