The Amsterdam University Fund is a recognised charity under Dutch law, meaning that your donation may entitle you to a tax deduction, depending on your situation and country of residence. If you want to donate with maximum tax benefits you must fill out a donation agreement to make a periodic gift for at least five years.

Donors living in the United States can enjoy a tax deduction on gifts made to the Amsterdam University Fund via the ‘University of Amsterdam Fund’. This fund is part of the Netherland America Foundation (NAF) and is recognised as a charity by the US Inland Revenue Service.
