International Alumni Network Netherlands (IANN)

The International Alumni Network Netherlands (IANN) is a network for UvA alumni with a wide range of academic backgrounds, coming from different parts of the world. The circle aims to enable alumni to stay connected with the University and UvA alumni community across the Netherlands.
The IANN also aims to facilitate members to grow their professional and personal skills through self-development, interaction with the local community, volunteering, sponsorships, workship and social events.
Collaboration
The IANN collaborates with Young IGC and Young Patrons Circle of the Dutch National Opera & Ballet to help build a network of talented young professionals in Amsterdam.

Past events
The IANN will offer members at least two activities a year. The following events have been organised since the launch of the circle in November 2017:
- Interactive training session on Ambition and work pressure with Eva Janssen
- Summer drinks
- Discount on the Young Patrons Gala of the National Opera & Ballet Young Patrons
- Bowling at Powerzone
- Meetup on effective cross-cultural communication with Yao Tue and Ardi Brouwers
- Pubquiz in Café Lust
- Stargazing tour at the UvA Anton Pannekoek Institute for Astronomy
- Lecture on How to Develop a Powerful Personal Brand with Adam Stones
- Guided tour in Photography Museum Foam
