The AUV Alumni Award is an annual incentive prize from the Amsterdam University Association for UvA alumni who make a special contribution to society through an appealing project. The winner is a source of inspiration for others and is considered a promise for the future. The AUV Alumni Award ceremony took place during the University Day on Saturday 23 September 2023.

AUV Alumni Award

The AUV Alumni Award includes cash prizes, which the winner must invest in their project. The first prize is 3.000 euro, the second prize is 2.000 euro, the third prize is 1.000 euro and the public prize is also 1.000 euro. Candidates can nominate themselves or be nominated by someone else. From the nominations, the jury selects a maximum of 10 nominees who have a chance of winning the jury award and an award granted by the audience.
