Boukje Taphoorn


Boukje started her career ​as a marketeer at Unilever, where she worked for seven years​ - both in the Netherlands as well as at the European Brand Centre in London. After London, she moved to Wieden+Kennedy Amsterdam where she worked as both Group Account Director and New Business Director. This was followed by a position as Strategy Director at KesselsKramer​. 

Since August 2012 she leads teams at Google in the field of branding and marketing. I​n her most recent role as Integrated Marketing Leader and Google NL Board member, Boukje leads the team responsible for helping iconic brands grow their business by focusing on full-funnel marketing solutions using data and technology to grow brands.​

Kevin Capota

Kevin Capota is Chief Marketing Officer of L’Oréal The Netherlands. He has a background in Industrial Design Engineering at the University of Twente, specialising in experience design/HCI. This interest led him to start his career at L’Oréal in 2008 in the marketing teams of L’Oréal Paris, working on different brands. Together with his team, in his role as CMO, he is leading the digital transformation of the company: strategising and rolling out a roadmap for change to fulfil L’Oreal’s digital ambitions. The three main goals are to increase e-commerce sales on beauty, establish more personalised relations with L’Oréal consumers, and to develop the different brands towards digital love brands.

Stephen Dowling

A graduate of M.I.T Sloan School of Business, London Business School and Stanford Graduate School of Business, Stephen Dowling (33) is Senior Global eCommerce Director @ Unilever. After completing university, he started at Unilever Ireland in 2007. He has spent 10 years at Unilever across multiple geographies and covering all product categories. Prior to this role he held the position of Global Head of Customer Development -Unilever Deodorants. In 2016 he was selected by The Grocer as a top young FMCG industry talent. Stephen lives as an expat in The Hague for the past three years and enjoys playing Irish Gaelic Football for the Netherlands.
