13Oct2017 11:00 - 12:00

PhD defence ceremony

Optimal care for older people is one of the greatest challenges in healthcare. Worldwide, the proportion of older people (≥ 65 years) will rise from 426 million older people in 2010 (8% of the total world population) to one billion older people in 2015 (16%). Marjon van Rijn aims to improve primary care for community-dwelling older people in the Netherlands.
